Our story

     Hi, I'm Caroline.

     Early in my adulthood, I trained to be a silversmith. This education brought me to an exciting design house position in NYC's Diamond District. The same day I started my career, I met William. Romance ensued both in marriage and career.

 

     Too soon after our beginning, recession struck. This stalled the jewelry industry and our careers. We began to rebuild, grow our family and forge a new path forward. Almost as soon as we recovered, William was lost to me as well. 

 

     I was left in my early 20s, widowed, jobless and alone with an infant. William left me with a stockpile of love notes. Each one became a priceless treasure. While rifling through them one day, silversmithing and grief merged. Scripted Jewelry was established in 2011 with a single cuff bracelet. The model was engraved with his handwriting.

 

     Over the past decade, I've assisted thousands of people on their own grief journey by creating sentimental pieces to help them hold their loved ones close. In time this project helped me heal as well. I am now on my chapter two. Re-married and running Scripted Jewelry with my second love. We keep it small and are riding out covid from our home studio in Wentzville, Missouri, USA.
